Creeping Jenny is a workhorse groundcover, and we mean that as a compliment. Its dense trailing stems root wherever a node touches moist soil, which means it fills in bare substrate fast and keeps spreading with almost no help from you.

It's the plant we reach for when a new terrarium build needs to look established quickly — carpet a floor, soften the base of a hardscape piece, or let it cascade over the edge of a raised planting area.

• Light: Bright indirect to medium light. More light keeps growth compact.
• Water: Keep soil consistently moist — this plant does not like to dry out.
• Humidity: Adapts well to normal humidity; thrives even more in high-humidity terrariums.
